	December 02, 2004 — December 05, 2004 Art Basel, Miami Beach, Florida Deitch Projects again presented a lively program at Art Basel Miami Beach combining musical performance, events and special installations in addition to a presentation of new work by gallery artists in our booth. At our annual opening night beach party Deitch Projects and Art Basel Miami presented a performance by one of the most exciting new bands in the world, the Scissor Sisters. Back in its usual location at the entrance to Hall A in a shared booth with Modern Art, London, the Deitch Projects booth featured an installation by Barry McGee along with new works by Kristin Baker, Jonathan Borofsky, Chris Johanson, Brad Kahlhamer, Jon Kessler, Robert Lazzarini, Matt Leines, Liza Lou, Barry McGee, Lamar Peterson and Clare Rojas. Deitch Projects presented Dearraindrop, The Riddle of the Sphinx, an installation in conjunction with Craig Robins and The Dacra Companies in the Design District. Filling the space with sculpture, video projections, paintings and drawings, the group transformed the space into a mythical, psychedelic fun house. A party hosted by Taschen and Deitch Projects celebrated the release of the Taschen book, Terryworld, and the recent Deitch Projects Terry Richardson exhibition. The party featured video of Richardson's new work and a special photo shoot. The book features the notorious private work of one of today's leading fashion photographers.
